About

My name is Marcela Campaz and I'm from Cali, Colombia - The salsa capital of the world. I've been dancing my whole life, but dancing professionally, in both shows and as a teacher for 15 years. I spent 3 years dancing salsa professionally in Turkey, but returned to Cali in 2020 and have been teaching Salsa in various hostels and dance academies since then.

I've now set up my own private studio where I offer private 1:1 classes to both beginners and experienced dancers. Moving to own studio has allowed me to offer the most competitive prices in the city. If you are a complete beginner, please don't feel nervous or anxious. The majority of my students come to me with 0 experience, and together we will get you to a level where you are comfortable dancing with Colombians in one of the many salsa clubs Cali has to offer.
